LordJecks is indeed correct. And if you'll look in my handy About the Show page, you will even find this in the barebones states section: Editing Program Used: iMovie HD (gasp!)Yup. Not GarageBand. Not even Audacity. It's freakin' iMovie. ...Fwee. Reason being that the interface is really, really simple, and I don't need a whole bunch of fancy audio tools and options to make a podcast like mine. iMovie also exports the sound to a great quality WAV file, which I can then convert with iTunes to MP3, for lower file size. I tried out GarageBand, and that confused me because it's obviously meant for music making, not podcast making. Audacity was okay, but I liked working with iMovie better, so there you go. If anyone wants, I can maybe post a screenshot-filled behind-the-scenes look at how I create the podcast sometime. I've never really used garageband myself but the new 2008 version of it has an option specifically for making podcasts now. I watched a tutorial online for it. Although now I can't seem to find it. There's lots of tutorials out there though. I talked to Ian since he runs his podcast off of a mac as well and he uses Audio Hijack Pro. He also mentioned wanting to use Ubercaster but that one costs like eighty dollars last time I checked. I work off of a Mac myself. Which for the most part doesn't affect anything too differently as a lot of programs have Mac versions these days. Trying to find free programs online though is usually where I find the difficulties begin. Not only with podcasting but AMV making as well.

Yeah, I noticed that about the newer GarageBand. Might be worth looking into at some point, though for now, iMovie seems to be fine, and if I really need to in the course of improving AU before its restart, I'll just force myself to learn how to use Audacity or something.
Audio Hijack Pro is good for the recording end on Macs, since it can record two separate tracks for the sound going in through your mic and the sound coming out from Skype if you're having guests. It's also great for recording sound samples from places that would normally be hard to rip sound from (e.g.: embedded, non-downloadable music streaming on the internet). But Audio Hijack is just that - a recorder. It isn't an editing tool, and I think Ian uses GarageBand to edit Dai-cast, too.

Oh my god, those videos made it all so much clearer, and I think the GarageBand I got with my new Mac is the one with the podcast specialties (on my old iBook, it certainly didn't). I think I found my new editing tool. Thanks so much for showing me those! *BIG HUG*

Wow I'm glad I kept those links bookmarked then. I know my version definitely doesn't have it, but yeah I would suppose the new macs would have it. I would love to see one of the new macs. My jaw completely dropped when I saw the specs and design of them.
Good to know the links were useful to you. In which case I'll say thank you as well because I found the how to podcast tutorial very useful. I'm reading through it now. (I've been relistening to old episodes).
